Our hope behind creating this book is that, regardless of what time and place you read this in, it will assist in creating a better tomorrow for these destitute elderly in Ethiopia.
The proceeds of this book will go towards enhancing the scale and services of the Elderly Home of the Brothers of Good Works in Addis Abeba (under the Congregation of The Brothers of Our Lady of Lourdes, and supported by the Dutch NGO St. Goede Werken Glorieux).
With only a handful official elderly homes in a country of over 100 million people, we realize that this daycare center is making very little difference for elderly in Ethiopia as a whole. But for those in the Elderly Home in Addis Abeba it makes all the difference in the world.
